Prayers for Hoonah
Today, we ask for your prayers for the community of Hoonah, in Southeast Alaska. We ask God to grant these people peace and comfort following
the recent killing of two local police officers. Our ministry vessel, the M/V CHRISTIAN, was visiting Hoonah as the incident recently took place.

Return to Tanana
Our volunteers recently returned from the community of Tanana, Alaska. Tanana is
a small community of about 400 people found at the confluence of the Tanana and Yukon rivers. In Tanana there had not been a week-long Vacation Bible School since 2005. We ask that the seeds of the Gospel that were planted will grow throughout the year. Read more

Prayer Requests

Your prayers are vital to the success of our ministry. Thank you for joining with us in lifting up the following requests before the Lord:

• Please keep all of our
  native communities in your prayers. In particular, please remember the families of the two policemen killed in Hoonah. We ask that God’s peace and the understanding that only He can provide will
  be able to comfort them as they mourn the loss of these brave men.
  
  
• Now that the students have returned to Haskell Indian Nations University, we ask
  God to bless the ministry of Will and Patricia Main throughout the school year.
  
  
• Our staff recently met to discuss ministry plans for
  the upcoming year. We ask
  for God’s guidance as hearts and minds are transformed through the sharing of God’s love with Native men, women and children.
