"Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
Wow! We have another opportunity to minister the love of Jesus to the students at Haskell Indian Nations University. I believe as we enter into our fifth year of ministry through Haskell LIGHT that an outpouring of Gods great grace will be released over the Native American students. I believe that God has chosen each student to come to Haskell for such a time as this. These young people are finding their identity and learning new ideas and concepts. Many students are coming with their dreams, goals, hopes… and their fears. Will and I rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us as we minister to these students who come from over 140 tribes throughout the United States.

In September we held our second Welcome Back BBQ and live Christian drama for the students. God’s presence was so sweet. We had over 150 students in attendance. The students listened and watched as dramas were being played out. We shared the Gospel boldly and prayed a corporate prayer for the Holy Spirit to work in the lives of the students. We believe through the power of the Holy Spirit that God’s great love will embrace these students and that they will come to know a relationship of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that they will come to have
an intimate relationship with Jesus and experience His love, peace and restoration.
God continues to open the door for us to be a light and speak into the lives of the first year students thru Vision Quest class. And, as we did last year, we will have Bible study every Wednesday at noon at the LIGHT House, serving lunch and studying Scripture. We will also hold Sunday morning worship twice each month. New this year, we are hosting a time of creative praise and prayer every Tuesday night. The Word says “Let them praise his name with dancing and make music to him with tambourine and harp.” (Psalms 149:3) This past
year we had 8-12 students who regularly came to the LIGHT House. As we continue to build relationships with the students, we hope to reach out to many more with the Gospel of hope in Jesus.
Thank you for your prayers and your support as we continue to share the Gospel with the students at Haskell Indian Nations University. We would not be able to continue this ministry of healing and hope without your support.
