Haskell LIGHT Reaching Out

Tell A Friend

We praise God for another good beginning to the school year.  Classes on the campus of Haskell Indian Nations University began on August 24.

Will (Sioux) and Patricial (Cree) Main welcomed students back as they moved into the dormitories.  They also hosted an ice cream event at Haskell LIGHT Lutheran Student Center to officially welcome students and familiarize them with the services offered at the center.

Weekly worship services also began on August 28. They had their largest attendance to date with more men attending.

A special guest worshipped at the LIGHT House recently.  Will Main shares, "LIGHThouse fellowship was very blessed to have a special guest this Sunday! Brian is an Alaskan Native whom we first met at our initial tour of Haskell some five years ago! He came to LIGHThouse fellowship because he has been wondering how we have been doing. He was very excited to see that we are still here. He shared that with the consistency we have shown in our campus activities, both students and staff are assured that the LIGHThouse is there for the long haul! He really blessed me by sharing these things. Brian is now attending KU and is pursuing his Masters Degree! What a blessing it was to be encouraged by him."

Thank you for your prayers and faithful support which allows Will and Patricia to continue their ministry among the students at Haskell Indian Nations University.
