Please Pray for the First Nations Mission Conference

During the week of September 15, I will be part of a 'first of its kind' mission conference

on the Makah Indian Reservation in my hometown of Neah Bay, Washington.  The conference will bring together important Lutheran mission leaders, professors, mission executives, and native Christian leaders, for a time of theological insight, sharing and discussion on ways to fulfill the proclamation of the Gospel in the native world.

What makes this conference so unique is that it marks the first time native Christians have hosted and participated in a forum of this nature within the Lutheran Church.  Native Christians, including myself, will be presenting papers during the conference that they have prepared.

It should be a very valuable time of fellowship, prayer and insight as we gather around God's Word.  Thank you for keeping this ministry and this important event in your prayers.
